Payroll and PAYE

We offer a full payroll service to our clients, from small businesses with only one employee up to larger businesses with fifty or more employees.

Charges are at an hourly rate charged to the nearest fifteen minutes. We cover any pay frequency, for example weekly, fortnightly, four weekly or monthly. We produce your payslips which can be hand-delivered or posted to you or your employees.  We can also provide security payslips if these are required.

We  provide you with HM Revenue and Customs remittance slips and details of how much and how to pay.

At the end of the year we provide a full report and filing service, fulfilling for all your statutory requirements. This service can be run in our office or in your premises.

The NEW PAYE scheme – Real Time Information (RTI)

From April 2013, HM Revenue & Customs will be introducing a new system for processing payroll called Real Time Information. Under the new scheme employers (or their appointed agent) will submit all of their payroll information to HMRC every time they pay an employee, which will replace the requirement to submit a P35 Payroll Year End at the end of the financial year. This will give HMRC up to date information on how much an employee has earned, how much tax and National Insurance they have been deducted, and how much the employer owes HMRC in PAYE. It also means that any incorrect tax codes can be adjusted with immediate effect, so that employees are not over or under-taxed.

This means that anybody still operating a manual payroll system will require payroll software with the ability to transmit data over the internet. CRASL can help implement this software, or we can relieve the burden entirely by running the payroll via our RTI enabled Sage software.
